Are you truly prepared?

A high-impact incident could strike your healthcare organization at any moment. And then what? How does your organization respond? How do you communicate with your stakeholders? What systems do you prioritize for recovery? And how do you ensure that patient care is not compromised?

These are questions that every healthcare security and crisis professional must ask themselves. Therefore, on May 19, 2026, we are organizing an exclusive seminar where theory and practice come together. Not only will you learn what NIS2 and the Cybersecurity Act mean for your organization, you will actually practice in a realistic crisis scenario under the guidance of an international expert.

Sanquin shares how, as a critical entity, they prepare for a crisis. Experts shed light on regulatory frameworks and compliance. And the highlight: an interactive crisis exercise in which you immediately learn how to act in practice when the need arises.

Why is this important?

  • Geopolitical threats are increasing and getting closer and closer
  • Healthcare must remain reliable, even if systems fail
  • Z-CERT publishes Cybersecurity Assessment: healthcare must reckon with long-term failure of digital systems

This is not a theoretical seminar. This is preparation for reality.

Interactive crisis exercise (1.5 hours) - The highlight of the day

This is not a theoretical session. Under the guidance of international cyber crisis expert Luke Fletcher, you will work through a realistic crisis scenario. You will learn directly how to act as a security and crisis specialist when systems go down, stakeholders panic, and time works against you. You will practice together with colleagues from the healthcare sector and discover what you do and do not know about crisis management.

Practical experience of Sanquin

Sanquin is a critical entity that prepares daily for cyber crises. They share their experiences with Business Continuity Management (BCM), the Critical Entities Act, and how it relates to NIS2. Learn from their practical approach and best practices.

NIS2 & Cybersecurity Act (CBW): Clarifying the Regulatory Framework.

What do these obligations really mean for your organization? Experts provide clear explanations of what you need to perform, what you risk if you are not compliant, and how to implement it step by step.

Networking with peers

Meet CISOs, ISOs and risk and crisis managers from the healthcare industry. Share experiences, best practices and learn from each other. This is an exclusive group of professionals facing the same challenges.

Free admission

Includes lunch and coffee. No hidden costs. A full morning of knowledge and practical preparation with no financial barrier.
