Bureau Veritas Nexta and Fores Partner to Deliver Strong OT Services in Italy

Bureau Veritas Nexta has partnered with Fores Engineering Srl to deliver comprehensive Operational Technology (OT) cybersecurity services, responding to Italy's alarming position as a primary target for global cyber attacks.

Italy faces a disproportionate cyber threat burden:

Despite Italy representing only 0.7% of the world's population and 1.8% of global GDP, it has suffered 10% of worldwide cyber attacks recorded in 2024
Cybercrime generated over 10,500 billion dollars in revenue in 2024, with ransomware representing one of the main threats and showing an 11% increase in attack numbers

This places Italy far ahead of other major European nations, with France at 4% and Germany and the UK each at 3% of global attacks.
