Unique cybersecurity event for the Manufacturing Industry
INVITATION | THURSDAY 22 JANUARY 2026 | VAN DER VALK UTRECHT
The European NIS2 Directive and the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) bring sweeping new cybersecurity requirements for companies in the manufacturing industry. Products with a digital or network connection must be designed, developed, and maintained with demonstrable security.
Importantly, products that do not meet CRA requirements may no longer be sold on the European market after 11 Dec 2027.
We see that many manufacturing companies are looking for clarity: what do these obligations really mean for our products, processes and compliance? That is why we are organizing an exclusive expert-led networking event on January 22, 2026, designed to help you prepare step-by-step for full NIS2 and CRA compliance. You will receive a practical, actionable roadmap for your organization.
Key Reasons to attend:
- Practical roadmap to NIS2 compliance and enhanced cyber resilience
- Concrete roadmap for the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) and the Radio Equipment Directive (RED) specifically focused on the manufacturing industry
- Insights from prominent speakers at the RDI (digital infrastructure regulator) and renowned cybersecurity experts
- Free dark web scan: insight into leaked login data and possible infections within your organization
- Valuable networking moments during lunch and the network reception with CISOs, CTOs and executives from top companies in the industry
What do NIS2 and the CRA mean for your organization?
NIS2 is an EU directive that requires member states to incorporate stricter cybersecurity requirements into national legislation. For companies in the manufacturing industry, this means that they must comply, directly or through their role in the supply chain, with new requirements for risk management, incident response, supplier security and reporting requirements, among others.
The Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) is an EU regulation and thus acts directly as legislation within all member states. The CRA sets cybersecurity requirements for products with digital or network-connected functionality. Manufacturers must demonstrate that their products are securely designed, tested and maintained throughout their life cycle.
Products that do not meet CRA requirements may not be sold on the European market once the regulation is fully in effect (Dec. 11, 2027). Together, NIS2 and CRA make cybersecurity an essential part of product development, manufacturing processes and supply chain management within the manufacturing industry.
