Team Manager - Advisory Services (Enterprise Group)

We are looking for a Team Manager - Advisory Services to lead and develop the Advisory team within the Enterprise Group of Bureau Veritas Cybersecurity. In this role you will be responsible for operational delivery, team development and sales support with the goal of; delivering high quality governance, risk and compliance services. You will work primarily for organizations in the public domain, educational institutions and the healthcare sector. We execute projects with high societal impact including compliance projects in the areas of ISO 27001, NIS2, DORA, SOC2 and organization-wide risk assessments.
As Team Manager, you will help build our consulting capabilities. The team involves ten information security consultants ranging from junior to principal level. The role offers both operational responsibility and strategic visibility.
What will you perform?
- Operations & Delivery: Lead the end-to-end execution of consulting projects within public, education and healthcare environments, focusing on quality, consistency and scalability.
- Team Management: Coach, mentor and further develop consultants within the Advisory team, and strengthen a professional team culture where people are motivated and employees are retained for the organization.
- Sales & Marketing collaboration: Collaborate with sales to define growth opportunities, strengthen sector propositions and strategically position Advisory services.
- Knowledge & Leadership: Act as subject matter expert on governance and compliance issues and share knowledge through publications, events, sector meetings and internal knowledge platforms.
- Strategy: Develop and realize the Advisory strategy within the Enterpise Group.
You have:
- At least a bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, IT, engineering or similar field.
- Multiple years of experience in cybersecurity advisory or similar roles.
- In-depth knowledge of IT cybersecurity governance.
- Strong knowledge of standards and regulations such as ISO 27001, NIST CSF, NIS2, DORA, SOC2 and risk management methodologies.
- Experience performing complex consulting engagements, preferably within public sector, education or healthcare.
- Certifications such as CISSP or RE are a strong plus.
- Leadership talent and proven coaching skills; you have demonstrable experience in leading teams and have experience coaching and developing employees.
- Strong commercial and project management skills.
- Fluent in Dutch and English.
