Project Description
Title: Using AI to Supercharge Crisis Tabletop Scenarios
Context
Tabletop exercises help test readiness across Incident Response, Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, and Crisis Management. Our ABCD team already uses dynamic injects. Generative AI can offers a way to act as a force multiplier by providing real-time, context-aware, on-the-spot support based on internal protocols.
Problem
Tailoring injects to specific scenarios takes time and can miss important context. AI can assist by delivering timely, relevant injects that help facilitators stay focused on guiding the session, and this project will explore this.
Project
Developing TACTIC. It runs locally, ingests IR, BC, DR, and CM documents, analyzes them against internal standards, and suggests context-aware injects and moderator prompts during the session. The goal is to improve exercise quality by highlighting key areas for improvement in crisis management.
Main Research Question
How can generative AI support tabletop exercises by delivering context-aware injects and moderator prompts based on internal plans and standards?
Input
Internal crisis documents
Output
Gap analysis and real-time inject suggestions
