To strengthen the Bureau Veritas Cybersecurity IT team, we are looking for a System Administrator. The team works both remotely and from our offices in Amsterdam and Eindhoven.
Our IT organization is characterized by numerous internally hosted and/or developed applications used by employees worldwide, which must be both maintained and efficiently further developed.
This position requires a Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG) and an MIVD B security clearance. If you do not yet have these, a screening process will follow after signing the employment contract. You may not start in this role until your screening has been successfully completed.

As a System Administrator, you have a “can-do” attitude. You take a solution-oriented approach when implementing your colleagues’ requirements and requests. You also possess the necessary resilience under pressure and a big-picture perspective to tackle projects and ad-hoc issues decisively and with a customer-first mindset.
With your clear vision of IT security and data protection, along with your personal ambition, you’ll take on the challenge of driving our company’s growth (both nationally and internationally) and addressing the associated IT architecture challenges.
What can you expect from us?
- Learning and development: At our company, you’ll work in an environment where trust, expertise, and social impact are central. We’re convinced that you can truly make a difference when you’re given the opportunity to deepen your knowledge and actively contribute to a safer digital society. You’ll receive support through clear career paths, regular performance reviews, and opportunities for active learning.
- Working within a highly skilled team: cybersecurity doesn’t stop at national borders, and neither does our way of working. With teams all over the world, you’ll collaborate with colleagues from different countries, disciplines, and cultures. We share knowledge, learn from one another, and develop new solutions together, supported by initiatives such as our R&D programs.
