Senior HR Business Partner

In this role of Senior HR Business Partner, you are the strategic and operational point of contact for all HR issues within Bureau Veritas Cybersecurity. You work closely with the MT and support managers in building a strong, future-proof organization. Thanks to your experience, pragmatic view and natural persuasiveness, you know how to both strategically place and practically realize HR initiatives.

You move smoothly with a rapidly growing environment, in which professionalization, cooperation and power to change are central. You enjoy translating complex issues into clear steps, and you know how to take teams and managers along with you. At the same time you are the stable, coaching force within the HR team in Amsterdam and you ensure a pleasant, professional and learning environment.

You will work closely with the recruitment department, the HR Manager Netherlands, the HR team and colleagues within the international Bureau Veritas organization to realize growth ambitions and align processes.

For this role we are looking for an experienced HR professional who is energized by a growing, changing environment and who can easily switch between strategy and execution. You have a solid HR foundation, feel at home as a sparring partner and have the sense of timing, tact and decisiveness that is needed in an organization in full development.

You are someone who connects, keeps an overview and brings clarity. You see what is needed, for the business, for employees and for the HR team, and you act proactively. You are accessible, reliable and you communicate clearly, even when the message is complex. You are also a natural point of contact and coach for managers and an inspiring colleague for the HR team.

You fit into this role if you enjoy building, structuring and further professionalizing, without losing sight of the human side.

What you bring

  • A completed college or university education in HRM, Business Administration or a similar field.
  • Extensive experience (6+ years) in a broad HR function, preferably as HR Business Partner in a growing or changing (international) organization.
  • Experience in coaching and developing teams.
  • Strong knowledge of Dutch labor law and absenteeism/poortwachter processes.
  • Experience in guiding change processes, organizational development or culture change.
  • A coaching, approachable style towards managers and colleagues.
  • A hands on mentality: you easily switch between strategic thinking and practical implementation.
  • A proactive, solution-oriented attitude and the ability to set priorities.
  • Strong communication skills (English and Dutch) and the ability to advise at all levels within the organization.
