Security Management Consultant

We are looking for a Security Management Consultant. As a Security Management Consultant, you will be seconded to our clients to help them further increase their cyber resilience.

You will advise organizations on implementing and/or auditing security management systems. In addition, you will help organizations become aware of and comply with laws and regulations such as GDPR (AVG) and NIS2. You perform functions in the field of (advisory) consultant, ISO, CISO support and DPO support. You provide support during audits to assess the maturity and compliance of an organization and help (based on the outcome) to establish and implement new security measures.

What will you perform as a Security Management Consultant:

As a "trusted advisor", carry out projects at clients' sites in order to achieve an optimal, future-proof and secure IT environment there. Process optimization and documentation are obviously of enormous importance;
You will work together with the client to monitor, assess and advise on IT security at various levels;
Answering questions and giving (unsolicited) advice on matters related to IT security at your client;
You will implement cyber security solutions;
Writing reports and giving presentations regarding IT security;
You are able to align security measures with the needs and objectives of our clients.

You are a Security Management Consultant with:

At least a completed college education;
You are in possession of a driver's license;
Several years of relevant work experience in a cybersecurity consulting role;
Experience writing security policies and you are able to present them to and discuss them with your clients;
Relevant certifications or willing to obtain them, for example ISO27001 lead implementer, CISSP, CCSP, CISM, or CISA;
Experience in performing baseline measurements and creating a roadmap based on known (inter)national security standards frameworks, for example ISO27001, NIST, CIS, ISAE, NEN7510 and/or BIO;

As a Security Consultant you know how to solve problems like no other and you always aim for results. You are meticulous, like to take initiative and can work well independently and in a project context.
