We are looking for an IT Auditor to expand our team in Eindhoven or Amsterdam.

As an IT Auditor at Bureau Veritas Cybersecurity you will perform IT audits, maturity measurements and risk analyses and provide advice and assistance in the implementation of security standards. You will work with a diverse portfolio of national and international clients as we are a part of Bureau Veritas. As an IT Auditor you play an important role with focus on organization, process and people, combined with the technical depth of the projects we deliver to our clients. The more experience you bring, the more responsibilities you will have on a project. Thus, we create an ideal learning environment for novice IT auditors and more experienced IT auditors.

What will you perform:

• Perform IT audits in the field of information security and compliance in sub-areas such as cloud security, NIS2, SURF, DigiD, SOC2, ISAE3000 and 3402, cybersecurity and privacy legislation;
• Ensuring the required quality of execution of assurance engagements;
• Performing and documenting audits according to required audit standards;
• Running efficiently, in cooperation with the client, the audit process in accordance with the agreements;
• Collaborate with other Cybersecurity specialists and IT auditors in the execution of your audits to achieve the intended quality of investigations;
• Contribute to the further development of our own services, as well as tooling, internal process improvement, templates and the use of (new) standards.
• Enable optimal service delivery at the client's on-site.

You have:

• University Bachelor's degree in the direction of business administration, business economics, accountancy or cybersecurity;
• A (nearly) completed postmaster RE (medior) or the ambition to obtain one (junior);
• Demonstrated experience with IT audits, assurance engagements, maturity measurements and relevant IT and security knowledge;
• Experience with or knowledge of performing risk assessments and reviewing information security risk management processes.

You are:

• A person with a critical, analytical and inquisitive attitude;
• Communicatively strong in speech and writing and able to engage with client staff on both process and IT issues;
• A person with a steep learning curve, eager to learn and ambition to grow;

As an IT Auditor, you have experience presenting reports and investigation results to client management. You have knowledge of the important risk management and information security frameworks and standards frameworks coming from NIST CSF, NIS2/Cbw, CSA, NOREA frameworks, PCI DSS, etc. and you know how to apply them when assessing clients on implemented security measures.
