Cloud Security Specialist (AWS/ Azure)

Many companies have moved their software and data to the cloud, making cloud security a rapidly growing domain. Unfortunately, more and more cloud breaches are in the news, often due to incorrectly configured environments, insecure applications, incorrectly classified risks or simply human errors. Therefore, it is more critical than ever to support our clients in securing their cloud solutions from vendor-neutral perspective. 

Within this fast evolving landscape, Bureau Veritas Cybersecurity frequently receives customer requests to help validate the security of their cloud solutions. Therefore, we are looking for a Security Specialist with Cloud expertise, to perform complex cloud assessments, pentests and to coach younger team members in this field. 
 

In this position you will work on (pen)testing Cloud services and components and their security configurations. You also advise customers on design issues, configuration settings and (security) baselines. You can handle complex questions in the cloud landscape with your up-to-date knowledge of Office 365, AWS and Microsoft Azure. We also expect you to take a leading role within the development of configuration baselines in our cloud test tools, and to develop Threat Modeling frameworks for cloud environments.
 

As a Cloud Security Specialist you will be in a client-facing role, supporting and guiding clients in their experience our security assessment services. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely project delivery (together with your team members) and assist sales in their responses to our clients’ Request for Proposals (RFPs). You will collaborate with our business units to refine service offerings. 
 

You have:

• A completed technical BSc/MSc/PhD degree.
• Experience with offensive security testing such as vulnerabilities assessment, penetration tests and red teaming.
• Previous experience in Cloud DevSecOps or cloud architecture.
• Experience in and in-depth knowledge of multiple cloud environments (Office 365, AWS, Openstack, Google Cloud or Microsoft Azure).
• Preferably experience in deployment orchestration, automation, and security configuration management (Puppet, Chef, etc.).
• Preferably experience in CI / CD (Azure Devops, Github actions, etc.).
• Preferably Cloud Security Certifications such as SANS (SEC524), CCSK, CARTP, CARTE or Azure/AWS specific certifications.
• Good communication skills (verbal and written, English and preferably also Dutch).
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction (self-starting and motivated).
