Business Developer Cybersecurity Defense & Safety

As Business Developer Cybersecurity, you will focus on organizations responsible for our defense and security. You are the driving force behind our growth in this market, you perform this from a deep knowledge of this market. You use your market knowledge and enthusiasm to advise your clients on the best suited cybersecurity solutions that Bureau Veritas Cybersecurity can offer. With your strategic vision and entrepreneurial spirit, you will build long-term relationships with clients and identify new business opportunities.

We are looking for a Business Developer for the Defense & Safety team. In this role, it is essential that you fully understand the culture of this customer group. A background in Defense or a similar organization or several years of work experience here is necessary. The biggest challenge is in developing the (international) demand from clients within the defense and security sector for our services. You will perform this by cultivating your existing network but also by approaching prospects.

You have a drive to win new contracts. In addition, you have knowledge of the national and international security domain and you know where your (future) customers are, how to engage with them and how to turn a question into an order.

You are responsible for the execution of the strategy, the growth of the turnover and making our services even better suited to our clients. You do not perform this alone, you work in a team of driven professionals who can support you in this.

As Business Developer you will take care of:

  • Market awareness of the Defense & Safety domain;
  • Developing sales plans and their implementation;
  • Initiate, coordinate and realize tenders and offers;
  • Identifying sales opportunities with new customers;
  • Contributing to marketing activities;
  • Generating leads in cooperation with marketing colleagues;
  • Writing business-related articles and making an active contribution on social media with the aim of increasing the network;
  • A good collaboration with your team; We are looking for someone who likes to work in a team and enjoys carrying a shared sales target.

You are a Business Developer with:

  • A network of defense and security organizations; You know this market inside out and know how the market moves;
  • You have a vision of how you want to work this market and have a can-do mentality;
  • Relevant work experience in and knowledge of Cybersecurity services;
  • Experience in defining and executing sales strategies;
  • An entrepreneurial attitude, self-driven and a drive for achieving results;
  • Strong communication skills both oral and written, both in Dutch and English.
