Education and Local Government Account Manager

Cybersecurity in education and government touches the core of our society. As an Account Manager at Bureau Veritas Cybersecurity, you'll help organizations that touch millions of people while building your own growth in a fast-growing market.

In this role, you will be the face of Bureau Veritas Cybersecurity to our education and local government clients. We are looking for a driven Account Manager who gets energy from bringing in new customers, building relationships into key accounts and closing deals. We are the government Cybersecurity market leader nationwide and our goal is to become so within local government as well. We are growing rapidly in this and need you to help us continue that growth.

Looking at the education market, we are already connected with several universities, colleges and mbo-schools, for example we have several SURF master contracts which form a nice base within this market.

It is also important that you have experience with IT (and preferably cyber security) and the ambition to develop further within cyber security. Together with our team of experts you will support your customers in protecting their systems and data.

What will you perform?

• Develop new relationships and acquire new clients in education and municipalities (through leads or contracts we have already won, such as with SURF).
• Proactively contact existing clients, maintain the relationship and further develop these clients.
• Thinking along and working on tenders, offers and mini-competitions. Our inside sales team supports in making the offers and our Bid manager team takes care of the tenders and mini competitions, so you can focus on customer contact in these processes.
• Selling our services, such as audit and consulting services, penetration testing, awareness and behavioural consulting but also complete cybersecurity programs for our customers where all these services are reflected in. You will receive substantive assistance from top specialists.
• Spotting opportunities, following market developments and responding to customer needs.
• Collaborate with our technical team and project leaders to provide the best solutions.
• Provide direction for marketing campaigns in your market segment.
• Participate in the growth of Bureau Veritas Cybersecurity in the Dutch education and government market.

Who are you?

• You are a driven personality who gets energy from generating new business (a Hunter).
• You have completed at least a college education, preferably in a commercial or technical direction.
• You have several years of experience within sales positions in IT or Cybersecurity. You do not have to be an expert in the field of Cybersecurity as long as you have the drive to learn and are energized by building new relationships and know how to translate complex Cybersecurity issues into clear solutions.
• Commercial experience within the education and local government market is a big plus.
• You know how communicate effectively and know how to convince people.
• You are eager to learn and enjoy working in a team.
• You are proficient in Dutch and English.
